I've been thinking recently how diverse all our interests and backgrounds are. This leads to GREAT conversations. Diversity is the spice of life. There is always something new to discover, a new journey to embark. One thing I have learned about people who are into health, ethics, and nonviolence is that they are easy to be around. They tend to be curious about the world around them, and bring a postive attitude to the table. If this is you, make time to get to these events. Your new friends are waiting. Activism is FUN! What better way to spend a couple hours on the weekend hanging with your veggie pals, passing out veggie literature to the general public? We handed out over 100 Why Vegan? and Vegetarian Starter Kits while enjoying the beautiful weather and getting exercise walking down Main Street. Lots of people came up to us and asked how to pronounce "vegan". We were smiling and being friendly and sharing information with love.
